(series in progress)
As we race into a future defined as much by the virtual world as the real one, our relationship to nature and our organic surroundings becomes more tenuous than ever. Our advanced technology allows us to remain increasingly oblivious to our environment while at other times commodifying it, providing digestible fragments to be consumed as social media fantasies. We become lost and disoriented in physical space, leaving relics of our passing impervious to decay, or seek to dominate the grandeur we secretly fear will surpass and outlive our own. Occasionally we still stand transfixed at the wilderness around us, wondering what is this strange sight we no longer recognize.
