Gowanus Open Studios is this weekend and I’m excited to be showing new work from my ongoing series Raw Are the Bones of My Earth. For the past 10+ years I’ve been taking a lightweight plastic panoramic film camera on all my alpine climbing and backcountry trips. Come see the fruits of those journeys and taste a world of mountainous barrens, primeval ponds, boundless views, and portraits of the many great partners I’ve traveled with along the way.
I’ll be at Makeville Studio again this year at 125 8th St in Gowanus, Brooklyn. Come check out some new work, say hello, and hear some stories from the trail.
As usual I'll also have prints on view from other past and ongoing series, books and prints for sale as well as other special items only available at open studios. And if you can't make it but have questions about the work or inquiries about prints or books, feel free to reach out.
