Captured during the total solar eclipse on April 8th, 2024, just outside Newport, VT, this photograph of totality is printed using the platinum/palladium process—one of the most enduring and archival of photographic printing techniques. Known for its ability to reveal deep, velvety blacks, the process here renders the vast, inky darkness of the Moon as it transits across the face of the Sun.
The prints are handmade as the process requires the sensitizer solution to be brushed onto the paper before exposure. Because of this there is some variation between prints and each print has its own unique character.

Gowanus Wild is a photographic exploration of nature and wilderness in the contaminated industrial neighborhood of Gowanus, Brooklyn. As the Gowanus Canal has been declared a federal Superfund site and seen over 150 years of industrial abuse, the images reveal just how tenacious nature can be when faced with grave environmental destruction. Accompanying texts include an essay by Gowanus Canal Conservancy director Andrea Parker and nine poems and an essay by photographer Miska Draskoczy.

Adverse Reaction
Volume 1
Every day, millions of New York City subway riders are subjected to a constant barrage of advertising. Plastered to nearly every underground surface, the media is meant to be one-way only, designed to lull the consumer into mute obedient action. A few outspoken smart-asses take matters into their own hands, talking back to the blatant manipulation thrust in their faces. Scribbling, tearing, scratching and defacing, they make their voices heard in return. These adverse reactions rise up like antibodies to reprogram the corporate virus, creating new meanings which are alternately hilarious, troubling, incisive, or just plain bizarre. This populist art form, an everyman's dada, captures the projections, discontent and humor of New Yorkers.
