Gowanus Open Studios is coming up this weekend, October 20th-21st and it’s sure to be a massive and exciting event as always!
I’ll be showing work in two locations this year. For both Saturday and Sunday I’ll be located at the Gowanus E-Waste Warehouse. On view will be objects and prints from my artist residency there earlier this year where I upcycled electronic waste into sculptural planters for flowers and plants. Stop by to check out the warehouse and re-use store, tour the residency studio space, and also see works from other recent resident artists.
My home studio will also be open for tour, stop by to check out new prints for sale from various series in progress such as Adirondack Motels and Super Normal, some new large prints from Gowanus Wild and a special tree rubbing collaboration with artist Keiko Miyamori.
The two locations are just a few blocks from each other so feel free to stop by both.
